Sammy’s Enoteca and Kippo Ramen to Open this Month at Marketplace at Fells Point

Screen Shot 2016-04-04 at 11.30.08 AM (2)Klein Enterprises announced today that two of its food tenants in the Marketplace at Fells Point, Sammy’s Enoteca and Kippo Ramen, are prepared to open this April pending completion of final inspections in the coming weeks.

Sammy’s Enoteca, a 3,224 square foot restaurant and wine bar located at 607 S. Broadway, will seat 110 amongst several different seating sections including tables, a bar and counter seats. The full menu will be similar to the southern Italian cuisine offered at its sister restaurant Sammy’s Trattoria in Mount Vernon, but with a special focus on food and wine pairings.

The 1,951 square foot Kippo Ramen located at 606 S. Broadway will seat 75 and offer a menu that focuses on Japanese comfort food and Korean fusion dishes from owner and Japanese native Shigehiko “Jacky” Okiebisu, his daughter Amy Okiebisu and his business partner Jong Hee Han. Donburi, or rice bowls, and small appetizers will be offered in addition to several varieties of ramen.

Sammy’s Enoteca and Kippo Ramen join other retailers and restaurants already open for business in the mixed-use Marketplace at Fells Point including Smashburger, Unleashed by Petco, Broadway Nail Spa and Mattress Discounters. The Dolben Co. and Klein Enterprises development also includes 160 luxury apartments with units available to lease and more than 28,000 square feet of office and retail space.
